- All transactions go through Paypal. You do not need a Paypal account to make purchases with a credit card.
- Most of my designs are also available through Stitchery Mall.
- I do not accept checks or money orders for payment, however, you may use a check or money order at Stitchery Mall.
I use PEDesign and
Embird Studio to digitize my designs.
I want you to be happy with my designs. I offer samples as a way for you to test my digitizing of a design. I encourage you to stitch out any of my sample designs first before purchasing from me. Of course, if you have any
questions about my designs please contact me with your questions before purchasing, and should you run into a
problem after purchase I will also do what I can to help you with stitching out
your designs. I do not recommend resizing photo stitch designs. If you want to resize them I recommend you make the changes on a copy of the design and leave the original design in a safe place.
Most of the catalog of designs is being converted to many formats. New designs are offered in ART, DST, HUS, JEF, PCS, PES, SEW, and XXX. You can easily convert files for yourself with free conversion software that can be found here.
Of course, you will find freebies here, but also you will find them scattered among the cart pages.
Photo Stitch Designs:
I offer photo stitch designs digitized in two different software programs:
PeDesign Photo
Stitch and
Embird Sfumato. To see the

I have used the following stabilizers with good results: Medium weight cutaway, and medium weight tear-away (on a T-shirt). If you want to stitch on knit fabrics it is advised to use a cutaway stabilizer if the design has many stitches.
Hoop fabric and stabilizer together and be sure they are taut. Make sure
there are no wrinkles in the fabric. I also strongly advise you follow the color
chart I provide with the design. Also, on 6x10 designs, I recommend you wrap the
long edges of the inner hoop or use non-slip shelf liner strips. I recommend a
test stitch out before you try stitching any photo stitch design on a project,
this will allow you to change colors where you wish and get a feel for the
stitch out of the design itself.
Yes, I offer custom digitizing services for Photo Stitch designs and "regular" embroidery designs at affordable prices.

When looking at designs on LJI Designs, the designs created in PeDesign start with PHO as part of their filename, and Sfumato designs start with SFU as part of the filename. This is how you will know what software the design was created in.
Older PeDesign photo stitch designs are denser, but the ones made in v7 are not as dense, you can see actual differences between PeDesign & Embird by looking at the images here.

Log into your account using your current email address and password. Click on My Account in the bar above the category menu. In the middle section of that page is My Account where you can change your account information including your email address and password.

When you get to the download page, you will find the "Download" button near the bottom of the page, however, should you see the following:
it is because the cart could not confirm your address at Paypal, possibly you chose the option at
Paypal for "No Shipping Address Required",
by doing so, you stopped this cart cold from allowing you to download the items you purchased. You will have to write me
and let me know. I will discuss your options with you at that time.
If you accidentally close your browser coming back from Paypal, you can also
come back to LJI Designs, click on
Login, and go into your "My Profile", you can then click on the date of your
order and download your designs.
